Fantom Force The Awakening is a gripping sci-fi action novel set in the very distant future, and revolves around the adventures of Fantom, a humanoid-leopard hybrid from the race known as the Ban-in-Jok. The other majority race, known as the In-gan, are normal, traditionally understood human beings who are constantly at odds with Fantom along with his force, as well as the entire race of the Ban-in-Jok.

Shaddow sets the story up in a screenplay format, which, while a different approach to writing in this genre, gives it a fresh appeal and puts the reader right in the middle of the action at every moment. Throughout the story, the author puts in top-notch illustrations of each character which really makes the characters that much more real. As a reader, this leaves you with nothing but vivid, powerful images of each scene, each detail, each conversation.

Overall, I can't recommend this book enough. It was a very refreshing read, and hard to put down, and I truly enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to seeing more from this writer!
