I think the author is very knowledgeable and I expected that since he's a doctor, and he lists a lot of diseases and maladies animals can get and how to treat them, but I thought this was a book of fiction when I got it. Maybe I didn't read the description, but I will keep it because I have cats and chickens and am an animal lover so I'll never know if I'll need this or not. It may really help me sometime in the future.Cathy

Sucks about how to treat animals thought it was a story if u live on a farm may be of use if u don't DO NOT get this book
I didn't like it because it only showed animal facts and I thought it was a book about a veterinarian.
It is a very interesting book telling diagnosis and cause for most diseases that strike horses and other farm animals
